Mid May already! I have been working in Temagami, setting up for the new season. It has been too cold to work in the sunroom so my paints and brushes have been sitting idle - much to my dismay. I am so anxious to get in there and get back to painting - I miss it terribly. This is a yearly theme - setting up for the upcoming tourist season while it is still cold - very busy pricing new stock and setting everything anew... as exciting as it is - it does not come close to the joy that I feel when I paint... however, life comes with responsibilities and sooner rather than later I will be back in front of my canvas... As always however, the longer that I stay away the more dificult I feel putting paint on any support - the uncertainty towards my ability to produce to the very high standards I set for myself...
