Study Time

I have been studying for the past many, many months and it has been very rewarding. Working as an artist requires continuous growth - the more I learn the more I want to know and I am always searching for ways to do this. Throughout the last year I have studied through a Canadian artist by the name of Johannes Vloothius - his online/dvd program encompasses almost 100 hours. Painting from photograhs - his most involved course; painting trees; painting water; painting skies; painting waterfalls; painting rocks - awesome. Barry John Raybould offers a six unit course on drawing - I am taking this because I want to refresh my drawing skills as I feel that I have lost a lot of the technique that I studied in university. The other artist that I found is Richard Robinson, a New Zealand artist and I am awaiting his dvd course on color - which I am very excited to get.
