1317 Northern Ontario Landscape 1-22 24x30 inch acrylic landscape painting on regular artist quality wrapped canvas - ready to hang as is... this is a good example of a repurposed canvas - usually the staples are at the back of the canvas but in this instance they are on the sides - this is an old canvas from when I studied at university - the first canvas I wrapped - I had painted a landscape on it - many years later I've repurposed the canvas and painted this landscape - I am at the age where I want to minimize my possessions and if I can repurpose, I will - this is who I am...

The texture on the canvas is a result of my repurposing older canvas paintings... -I often keep my works for a long period and reassess them at a later time... If I do not think they are strong enough I will regesso and use them again... I have always been an environmentalist at heart... 

Every painting is signed, the sides painted in black, and are ready hang as is to carry through on the simplicity of my work...
