Mid Summer - ALREADY.... I have been enjoying some time for painting this season - and am enjoying it thoroughly. I don't think that there is a time when I don't enjoy it - I do get frustrated and feel as though I do not have much knowledge when it comes to painting successfully. But then when the frustration wears off I always realize that I have learned something new from my mistakes, trials and errors, lots of errors. They drive me down a path of expanded knowledge, which as times goes by, brings me more pleasure. When I sit down in front of a blank canvas I am not as afraid to apply paint - let the brush do the work.

This summer I decided to work on some cards to sell in our store. I painted on a four by six tree free paper surface, then applied it to the watercolor card with photo corners. I have namedropped these with 'Temagami' on the bottom right hand side of the card because that is where our store is located. The card is sold blank inside so the purchaser can write whatever they want, for whatever occasion in which it is presented. The nice thing about this card is that they are each hand painted, can be removed and placed into a frame and the card can then be reused, if desired. It makes a very personal gift, and are inexpensive at $8.90 each. I will be installing all nine images on my blog early next week and make them available to the larger public. I can personalize each card, as desired and the cost will depend on the length of the message, which will be very inexpensive. The cost of the shipping will be according to charges from the shipping method chosen by the purchaser.
