Costa Rica

My husband and I spent close to two weeks in Ojochal, Costa Rica.   The view from our rental was beautiful.  I had brought very basic supplies of paints, brushes and paper as we were travelling light.  I was taken aback by how the acrylic paints reacted to the different environment found in a very hot climate.  It took me several days to adjust to the paints.  Because of the fluidity of the acrylics I realized that I had brought the wrong brushes and paper.  I was persistent and able to produce seven paintings of the mountains.  I will know better next time I travel to a hot climate.
