Bird paintings on display. Several years ago I refinished a small desk and now use it as a night table beside my bed. I pasted some of my calligraphy works, along with old envelopes received from calligraphy friends on the top and applied many coats of varnish... It was fun to do and turned out so much better than I expected. The idea was not my own. I had found a photo in a magazine about ten years back and kept it. I came across it while going through my papers and decided it was a good time to do this project.
