The black bear is a mainstay of our northern landscape.  It is considered a nuisance, an animal to fear, an animal to hunt down.  The bear is part of our environment, the same as we all are.  All animals should be respected for their part in this beautiful land of ours.  Society often forgets that we cannot survive on our own, that we are not the most important aspect in this world, we are not the most intelligent animal, and yes we are also an animal so to speak, and most of all that animals in the wild can teach us a lot.  The bear is a beautiful living being.  Enjoy
